SKIN CHAT

I’ve had this weird rash happening along my smile lines and bumps on the inner corners of my eyelids for over a week, and every foundation or concealer that I’ve applied on top would flake away. It started the morning after I woke up at the cabin, and my initial thought was probably because of the bed sheets. Perhaps I’ve been bitten by a bug since I’ve been going to the park a lot. How can we prevent that from happening since the parks are literally where everyone goes in the summer in NYC? My friend got a tick bite last year, and it ruined her diet ever since (like she couldn’t eat red meat anymore!).

After some investigative googling, I think I’ve found the cause. It is the excessive amount of moisturizer I’ve been using and/or the sunscreen samples I’ve been testing. And it’s called perioral dermatitis. Hence, I've had to cut down on the products to the minimal, and this product has been helping tremendously. This is one of many bodily changes I’ve noticed in my 30s, and besides the weight gain, it’s something I am learning to accept.

SHOPPING BAN

I don’t know what’s gotten to me lately, but I’ve been shopping like there’s no tomorrow… I won’t be paid for any of the current brand projects for another 30, 60, or even 90 days after the project wraps up. Sigh! 😭
